Project Description
In support of sustainable energy and clean water access, Bakkour Group played a pivotal role in the Tripoli Water Sanitization 1MW Solar Project. This project aimed to enhance the energy independence and operational efficiency of the water treatment facilities in Tripoli by integrating solar power systems that operate in synchronization with existing diesel generators.
Bakkour Group Responsibilities:
- Executed all civil works required for the solar infrastructure.
- Conducted extensive excavation for foundations, cable routing, and infrastructure base preparation.
- Performed concrete works, including casting of footings and pads for electrical and structural elements.
- Constructed reinforced concrete supports designed to anchor steel structures used for solar panel mounting systems.
- Ensured precise alignment and load-bearing capacity for solar arrays in a utility-grade setup.
- Coordinated site work and civil development to synchronize solar power systems with existing generators, ensuring seamless hybrid energy operation for the sanitization plant.

We design and manufacture high-quality welded steel towers for low, medium, and high voltage applications—supporting capacities up to 66kV. Each structure is custom-built in our advanced facilities to ensure durability and compliance with international standards.
Our team handles all excavation and foundation works needed for pole installations. We plot pole locations with accuracy and fill foundations with specialized concrete mixes tailored for electrical load-bearing performance.
With a strong commitment to safety, we execute overhead cable routing across our towers for LV, MV, and HV lines, adhering to the highest industry safety protocols at every stage of the process.
We fully construct and equip Medium Voltage Rooms, integrating transformers, Ring Main Units (RMUs), and electrical panel boards. These ground-mounted stations are built to ensure optimal performance and reliability in power distribution networks.
Bakkour Group fabricates and installs Pole-Mounted Stations, complete with mounted transformers, cut-out fuses, and surge arresters. Our systems are engineered for efficient space utilization and resilient field operation.
From excavation to cable laying, we prepare underground pathways using excavators and coring machines where necessary, ensuring minimal surface disruption and maximum cable protection.
We install and configure Low Voltage Panels for factories, residential zones, and commercial premises. This includes the integration of Net Metering and Digital Metering systems, helping clients optimize consumption and monitor energy use effectively.
